Cue celebrates 95th birthday
Glenn Cue, of Webster City, will celebrate his 95th birthday on April 1.
His family includes his wife Marie; Julie Bock, Fort Dodge; Rita Cue, Manson; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. His sons, David and Dennis Cue and son-in-law the Rev. Greg Bock, are deceased.
Cue served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He retired from the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad in 1983, after 36 years as an agent/telegraph operator. He umpired high school baseball and softball and worked for the Detroit Tigers citrus league in retirement.
He was born April 1, 1923, in Dow City.
