Lynx girls open season with mat quadrangular

The Webster City girls wrestling team got the season started on Monday, going 1-2 in a quadrangular with West Fork, BCLUW and Nevada. Behind falls from Lexi Matthes, Kali Hartnett and Kendra Shultz, along with forfeit wins by Kearsyn Kite, Ana Calles, Madison Culver, Nevaeh Robinson and Joyful Ssuubi, the Lynx topped West Fork, 48-24, for the first dual win in program history.
