Big innings haunt Lynx
CLEAR LAKE — A pair of tough innings kept the Webster City softball team from challenging North Central Conference co-leader Clear Lake here Monday night.
The Lions scored four in the first and added five in the sixth to pick up a 10-2 victory.
Jakaela Cherry had two hits. Morgan Hackbarth and Hailey Brim both drove in runs. With the loss, the Lynx saw their two-game win streak come to an end.
