The South Hamilton wrestling team dropped three duals Tuesday night in Emmetsburg.

The Hawks fell to host Emmetsburg (73-6), East Sac County (51-30) and Southeast Valley (46-21).

Colton Willis (220 pounds) was the lone South Hamilton grappler to go unbeaten. His night included a fall against Emmetsburg to allow the Hawks to avoid the shutout.

Lane Swenson (170) suffered his first loss of the season to sixth-ranked (Class 2A) Mason Griffin of Emmetsburg, 9-0. Swenson rebounded with a pair of falls.

Jose Galdeano (132) and Trevor Thompson (195) also went 2-1 on the night.

Against East Sac County, first-year wrestler Elijah Balderas (182) captured the first varsity win of his career by fall.
