Lions’ Faber too much for Lynx
CLEAR LAKE — The Webster City girls’ soccer team had no answer for the speed and athleticism of Clear Lake junior Sara Faber on the pitch Monday evening.
Faber rattled off six goals and the Lions (7-3) shut out WCHS, 10-0. The match ended in the 60th minute.
WCHS (2-11) will travel to Huxley to face Ballard (6-8-1) in a Class 2A Region 4 quarterfinal match Thursday night at 7 p.m.
