I love a bargain. Finding something I need at a great discount is a joy. Back when GPS devices were relatively new, I purchased a $199 brand name GPS navigation system for less than $50. To the editor Sons of the American Legion held its annual Fly-in Breakfast Sunday, September 8th, and it was a great success. The Sons would like to thank WC Custom Meats, Fareway, the Airport Commission, and Storm Flying Service. It’s October and this is Pastor Appreciation Month. With regular church attendance in the United States on the decline this observance could seem to be losing importance. As someone for whom faith is important, I maintain it is more important than ever. A survey by the Hartford Institute for Religion Research in the fall of 2023 found that more than half of current ministers had considered leaving the ministry. It’s a stressful job.
