Marlene Williams

Marlene was born September 9, 1943 in Dows. to Pete and Lilly Johnson. She graduated from Dows High School.

She met the love of her life Marvin (Gus) Williams and was united in marriage on July 21, 1973. The couple resided in Williams on their farm later moving into town.

Marlene enjoyed going to shows in Branson with her husband/family. You could find Marlene at the truck stop enjoying a cup of coffee and visiting with old and new friends. She also had her daily phone calls with her sister Sharon, reminiscing and laughing for hours. Marlene and Gus enjoyed traveling and their favorite spot became Branson. After Gus passed away, Marlene moved to Branson, MO.

She is survived by her sister Sharon Cassady, brothers, Donald Johnson and Merlin Johnson, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Williams, her sister Donna Brookins and her parents Pete and Lilly Johnson.
