DIANE TEIG
Diane Teig, 69, of Jewell died Saturday, November 16, 2019 at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines. A private family funeral will be held at a later time. Foster Funeral & Cremation is entrusted with the arrangements.
Diane Kay Teig, the daughter of F. Wayne and Roberta Whalen Teig, was born December 12, 1949 in Webster City. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1968. Diane attended Junior College in Webster City and then graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. She had worked many years for the United States Postal Service in Des Moines.
She is survived by her sister, Cindy (Craig) Lovelace of Webster City; nephews, Adam (Jessica Wells) Lovelace of West Des Moines, Josh (Peggy) Lovelace of Webster City; niece, Erin (Terry) Christian of Webster City and several great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Roberta; grandparents, Mandus and Mary Teig and Edgar and Irene Whalen.
Diane had a love for nature and being in the outdoors, reading, and going to movies and concerts. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Webster City Garden Club. Diane had a big heart and loved to spend time with family.
