McGowan wants balanced budget amendment

Seeing that the federal government has racked up a $40 trillion debt with no end in sight, Congressional candidate Chris McGowan believes a constitutional amendment requiring a balanced budget is the only answer. “I think that elected officials need to make that a front burner issue,” the Republican from Sioux City said Monday. City-wide clean up Friday and Saturday

The City of Webster City will be holding the no-fee clean up days for residents of Webster City from noon to 4 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Webster City Middle School parking lot.
