Mid-June brings more adult events to the Kendall Young Library

The Kendall Young Library offers more events in the month of June, in addition to the Adult Daytime book club. The following events are open to all interested. The Adult Evening Book Club discussion will be on the book “Great Big Beautiful Life” by Emily Henry. Books are available at Kendall Young Library. Primary election next Tuesday

Next Tuesday, June 2 is the primary election throughout the state of Iowa. Early voting began on May 15 at the Hamilton County Courthouse, with voters able to vote by mail or at the courthouse. “278 ballots have already been either mailed in or cast their votes at the courthouse,” said County Auditor, Kim Schaa said. “Anyone can vote at the courthouse until 4:30 p.m. on June 1.” The deadline for mailing out ballots has passed, so early voting must be done at the courthouse.
