74th Annual Fourth of July celebration in Williams draws thousands

Celebrating the 250th birthday of America in Williams was an event not to be missed, as residents from all over central Iowa came out to enjoy the parade and festivities centered in downtown Williams and park on Saturday. Parking was at a premium, and some visitors claimed they walked from U.S. Highway 20 to attend the annual event. Public invited to offer input on future WCHS renovations

FEH Design, a Des Moines-based architectural firm, will be hosting come-and-go SPARK sessions on July 7 and 8. These sessions involve the architects and designers sketching ideas to create a proposal for renovations to the high school. These sessions are open to the public and anyone interested and invested in this project should come to the Webster City High School to provide input. Second Street bridge repairs to create detour

From July 6 to 9, traffic on east Second Street will need to take a detour while repairs are made to the bridge. Those traveling from Second Street east will be detoured to Third Street to get to White Fox Road or to continue travel on east Second St.
