Operation Christmas Meal is coming to Webster City on Thursday, December 18, at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, 1200 Bluff Street, Webster City.

This event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Attendees can receive a free 5-pound pork loin.

The event is sponsored by Iowa Select Farms and the Deb & Jeff Hansen Foundation. It is meant to help local families in need.

Two other similar events will happen on the same day:

— Eagle Grove from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Wright County Fairgrounds, 901 SE First Street, Eagle Grove;

— Iowa Falls from 3 to 5 p.m. at Iowa Select Farms headquarters, 811 S. Oak Street, Iowa Falls.
