Webster City Fire Chief Chuck Stansfield reminds everyone to keep the following fireworks guidelines in mind while celebrating in Webster City.:

Fireworks may only be discharged on the following dates and times: July 3, 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

. Fireworks are not permitted at any other time in July.

Other important reminders:

. Fireworks must be discharged on your own property or with written permission from the property owner; You must be 18 or older to use fireworks; Do not use fireworks while intoxicated or under the influence.

. You are personally responsible for the operation and consequences of your fireworks use.
