Everything classic is back at Market Night

Webster City Market Nights to Feature Classic Car Night and Live Music by Scott Kirkhart

Market Nights brings back a crowd favorite with Classic Car night from 5:30 to 7:30 tonight. Headlining the evening in the Availa Bank Plaza will be performance by Scott Kirkhart, who will bring great energy to liven the crowd.

Cars will begin lining up between 4 and 5 p.m., with trophy announcements at 7:20 p.m. near the American Legion. Two categories will be awarded trophies; Community Choice and Karl Webster City trophy. Voting for the Community Choice winner will be at the Auxiliary booth in front of the American Legion building.

Car owners are encouraged to keep their hoods and trunks open during the show for judging on paint, body, engine, interior, wheels, and overall presentation.

There will be lots of food in the 700 block of Second Street, where there will be grilling by the American Legion. Grama’s Diner will be featuring root beer floats in addition to the original recipe of Bash’s coney dogs available.

Other restaurants open for the evening include Mornin’ Glory Coffee, Wildcat Distilling Company, Leon’s Pizza & Restaurant, and LaPerla Jarocha Mexican Restaurant, Lomitas Mexican Restaurant, Chuong Garden Chinese Restaurant and Chicago Style.

Food trucks for the evening are located in the 500 block and on Des Moines Street. The following food vendors will be here:

El Taco Riendo – Mexican cuisine

Best Spudz – Hearty potato-based meals

Citrus Crave – Allergen- and dye-friendly lemonades and chillers

Kathryn’s Kettle Corn – Kettle corn and roasted nuts

El Taqueria Paraiso- Mexican cuisine

Citrus Crave- Delicious allergen & dye-friendly Lemonade, Limeade, & Orangeade shakeups, Energy Chillers, Italian Sodas, Refreshers

The Main Scoop – Ice cream

Tropical Snow-shaved ice

J Dubs – Local favorite serving up BBQ type dishes

Berry Nice Sweet Treats – Pancakes with all the yummy toppings

Kona Ice- Shaved Ice

Rico Dulce y Deliciaso- delicious popsicles, fresh fruit

In addition, the streets will be full of vendors and many of the stores are also open. From clothing and jewelry to handmade goods, locally grown produce, fresh baked items and sweet treats and hot meals, there is something for everyone.

While downtown, customers can pick up a Vendor Passport at the Chamber booth, get a $3 produce voucher from the Hamilton County Farm Bureau table, and collect their Market Night in a Box. Starting this week Market Night in a Box can be pre-ordered for the following week.
