A run for Independence
A total of 198 out of 206 registered participants completed Friday’s Firecracker 5K in Webster City to kick off Independence Day.
Austin Vander Werf, of Saint Charles, is first to cross the finish line by West Twin Park with a time of 16:35 to win the Firecracker 5K.
Lauren Humphreys, formerly of Duncombe and currently of St. Charles, Illinois, places first among the women runners with a time of 20:07.
