Mulberry Center Church asks Saturday attendees to use west door

Due to weather, the concrete work on the entrances to the Mulberry Center Church at Wilson Brewer Park have not all been completed.

Thus, visitors to the church on Saturday who wish to attend the program “A Day in the Life of a WWII GI” will be asked to use the west entrance to the church. This entrance can most easily be accessed by parking in the lot just south of the church and using the existing sidewalk. There will be someone to guide visitors to the correct entrance.

The presenter Saturday is Caedyn Huston, 16, a Mid-Prairie High School student from Wellman whose passion for the war’s history reaches back into his family and the broader community.

“A Day in the Life of a WWII GI,” begins at 1 p.m. at the church on the grounds of Wilson Brewer Park, 220 Ohio Street, Webster City. This event is free, but freewill donations are accepted.

Starting at $3.46/week.
