City Council of Webster City will meet this evening
The City Council of Webster City will meet this evening in the council chambers at City Hall, 400 Second Street, Webster City.
This meeting begins at 6 p.m.
The council is expected to pass the second reading of an ordinance that amends the City Code in a section pertaining to neglected vacant property. The agenda calls for the council to waive the required third reading and then pass and adopt the new guidelines.
The council is also expected to consider moving the tree and grass collection site from its current location near the sewage treatment plant to property that is part of a trust from the Kendall Young Estate.
The new site would be that of the old dump and teepee burner, according to City Manager John Harrenstein.
There will also be public hearings at 6:05 p.m. on amending the FY 25 budget and for the Construction of the 2025-2026 Watermain Repairs and Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project.
This meeting can be viewed live on the City facebook page or viewed on the City of Webster City website the morning following the meeting.
