Market Night Thursday goes back to the classics — cars, that is

Thursday’s Market Night in downtown Webster City will return to the classics with another Classic Car Night.
Owners are invited to bring their classic vehicles and join the fun in the 700
block of Second Street. Enter on the corner of Prospect and Second streets. The three trophies
to be given out are sponsored by Mertz Engineering and Karl Chevrolet. This will take place across the street from the American Legion.
Market Nights this week is sponsored in its entirety by American Sanitation.
It runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
But back to those cars. You can vote for your favorite classic car at the American Legion Auxiliary tent. Here are the categories:

. “One-in-a-Melon” awarded by Envision Stanhope.
Trophies will be awarded at 7:20 p.m.
All vehicles will receive a registration and car number upon arrival to place in their front windshield for judging. Classic cars of all decades are welcome.
Thursday’s entertainment and activities will include:
. Live Music by the Kozmic Brownies trio, including singer Kris Karr.
. Family street games courtesy of Webster City Church of Christ;
