Kendall Young Library announces adult programs
Kendall Young Library adult programs throughout the winter, include:
Adult Book Club — February Book Club will discuss “Killers of the Flower Moon” by David Grann. The meeting is Tuesday, February 13, 1:30-2:30 p.m. A book for the March Book Club will be announced then.
Adult DIY — Kendall Young Library will host Adult DIY on Tuesday, February 20, from 5:30-7 p.m. As part of the retro craft series, the group will make buttons and keychains that are unique to your design. Bring a friend. It’s free and no sign-up is required.
Seniors Share — Seniors Share is Thursday, February 15, from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Seniors are invited to gather and share a hobby, collection or short story with others. A time limit will be established based on interest. Patrons that would like to participate by listening are also invited.
Free Seed Giveaway — Kendall Young Library and Nine Square Feet will offer a variety of seeds to assist patrons planning their spring planting. Seed will be available on Saturday, February 24. Stop in and get seed while supplies last.
SPICE Club — Add some spice to your life with the KYL Spice of the Month Club. This month the featured spice is Ginger starting, on Friday, February 2. Samples will be available throughout the month while supplies last.
This is a fun way to explore different cultures and flavors. Each month there will be a featured herb or spice. A limited number of kits will be available each month with a small sample, information about the spice, and a couple recipes to try.
