A retirement celebration was recently held for Marv Stueland of Webster City as he ended his career with Seneca Foundry.
Lori Mason, company president, said Stueland started with the foundry in 1972 and retired in November 2020. She added that Stueland was dedicated, reliable and respectful and had near perfect attendance during all of his years with the firm. He also mastered many different jobs at Seneca Foundry, including green sand molding, core making, grinding and has operated the cut off saw more than any other employee in the history of the foundry.
A party was held earlier this month in the company break room attended by all the employees, his wife and grandchildren. Stueland’s wife, Sue, catered a BBQ pork sandwich lunch with potato salad and cake for dessert.
Kirk McCollough and Mason spoke during the party and congratulated Stueland on his 48 years of service with Seneca Foundry.
