Extended homecoming parade route allows for social distancing

The Lynx football team rode on the bed of a semi-trailer in the parade. The team went on to continue its winning streak, defeating Boone 69-14.

Even though many homecoming activities at Webster City Schools had to be curtailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on tradition came off without a hitch.
The annual homecoming parade took to the streets of Webster City Friday afternoon. The route was extended a bit to allow for spectators to social distance and entries in the parade wore masks.
