It was all about reading Tuesday morning at Pleasant View Elementary School when Marcus McIntosh of KCCI-TV and representatives of EMC Insurance visited the school with the Read With Me program. The Read With Me Program is a partnership between EMC and KCCI 8 News in Des Moines. Each month, EMC donates $1,000 to an Iowa school for use in its library. Teacher Kelly Johnson and her daughter, right, accepted the check on behalf of the school. Johnson’s mother nominated the school for the honor. McIntosh then read “The Book with No Pictures” to the students.
