New employees join staff at Stony Creek Landscapes

Four new staff members have joined the crew at Stony Creek Landscapes in Webster City.

Gayle Bothe comes from a background in fine art and graphic design and has adapted her creative tools to various projects. She learned to love and understand natural landscapes while growing up on a small farm in northern Minnesota. Since then, drawing inspiration from her travels, she carries this passion for nature with her by transforming her outdoor spaces in the diverse landscapes she has lived in.

Pam Fitzgibbons is a native of Webster City, and graduated from WCHS in 1980.  She attended Iowa State University, Iowa Central Community College and the University of Iowa, majoring in Outdoor Education. She interned in Granby, CO, and moved back to Webster City in 1985 and took a “short term” job that turned into 26 years at Electrolux. With the closing of Electrolux and its move to Mexico in 2011, Fitzgibbons went to work for her sister and brother-in-law’s hardware store, Webster City True Value, where she worked until April 6, 2018. She’s now working at Stony Creek Landscapes, Inc., and is semi-retired. She enjoys playing in the dirt and growing things plus the seasonal aspect and part-time status will allow Fitzgibbons and her partner Jan, to enjoy camping and traveling South during the winter.

Jill Luedtke, originally from Badger, graduated from Iowa Central Community College with an Associate’s degree in 2007 and Central College with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 2010.  After graduating from college, she decided to obtain her pilot’s license. She went to Storm Flying Service at the Webster City Airport to take lessons and eventually earned her Private Pilot certificate, Commercial certificate with Instrument rating, and became a Certified Flight Instructor. She lives in Webster City with her husband Steve, and they manage the Webster City Airport with Steve’s brother Mike and his family. Luedtke provides customer service, works in the nursery and helps with various tasks as needed. She loves working with plants and being outdoors.

Kathy Graeve is working at Stony Creek Landscapes Inc., after retiring from a career as a teacher.  She graduated from Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa, and Viterbo University. Graeve is a native of Webster City and now lives in Ankeny with her husband Larry.  She has two grown sons, Mark of Ames, and Tom of San Francisco, California.  She enjoys being outside, learning about new plants, and helping customers enhance their landscapes and gardens.
