Warland joins WCF Financial Bank

WCF Financial Bank announces that Joel Warland has been named Senior Vice President/Lending. Warland began his duties on March 7 and is working out of the main office in Webster City.

Warland is a native of Fort Dodge, a current resident of Eagle Grove, and has more than 30 years of bank lending experience, including the last 12 years in the Eagle Grove, Clarion, and Fort Dodge markets. He graduated from the University of Iowa in Iowa City with a Finance major, and received his MBA in Accounting & Finance from DePaul University in Chicago. Warland has been active in the area community, serving and volunteering for numerous organizations including the Clarion Economic Development Committee, the Red Cross, and Pheasants Forever.

“I’m thrilled that Joel has decided to join the WCF family,” said bank President/CEO Tim Kluender. “He has demonstrated a commitment to community banking and possesses the experience and skills to serve our customers and help them succeed.” Warland will be responsible for originating and servicing all types of loan and deposit relationships, with an emphasis on commercial and ag lending.
