Kim Stoakes presented with Hy-Vee Ronald D. Pearson Citizenship Award
Kim Stoakes, Pharmacy Manager at the Webster City Hy-Vee, has earned the Hy-Vee Ronald D. Pearson Citizenship Award for her dedication to giving back to the community.
Stoakes earned this honor by volunteering 250 plus hours of service through Hy-Vee’s Ronald D. Pearson Citizenship Program, which encourages part-time and full-time Hy-Vee employees to give back to their communities through volunteer work.
“The Ronald D. Pearson Citizenship Program encourages employees to take their helpful smiles out of the store and into their neighborhoods to build stronger, more vital communities where we live and work,” said Dale Mitchell, the Webster City Hy-Vee store director. “We are proud of Kim for exhibiting Hy-Vee’s core values of helpfulness, friendliness and dedication.”

Stoakes was recognized in a ceremony at the company Career Day on July 7, 2015. She will also be recognized locally in an event with Family, Friends and Co-workers.
The Ronald D. Pearson Citizenship Program is named after Hy-Vee’s second chairman, CEO and president, Ron Pearson, who established the Hy-Vee fundamentals: helpful, friendly, honest, respectful and dedicated.
