NEW Cooperative donates to 4-H programs

The NEW Cooperative Foundation has shown their commitment to supporting the local 4-H youth.

Recently, the Foundation donated about $30,000 to area 4-H clubs. The money is donated for each youth in NEW Cooperative’s trade territory, which includes Webster, Calhoun, Carroll, Greene, Franklin, Sac, Pocahontas, Humboldt, Hamilton, Kossuth, and Wright counties.

NEW Cooperative officials said they take great pride in supporting our area youth 4-H programs. A press release from NEW Cooperative stated that the company strongly feels that 4-H helps these youths build the foundation to become future leaders in the local communities. The NEW Cooperative Foundation was established in 2011 as the charitable division of NEW Cooperative Inc. The ability to continue supporting outstanding youth, agriculture, and community organizations and events in the area is a privilege that the NEW Cooperative Foundation greatly appreciates. The Foundation prides itself in providing assistance and support to organizations, programs and projects within the NEW Cooperative service area that directly benefit and enhance the quality of life in the member’s local communities.
