New management at Southfield apartments

Webster City resident, Nicole (Niki) Kumm began her duties as Southfield Independent & Assisted Living Apartment Manager January 5th. She had previously spent eleven years employed as dental hygienist at Dr. Smith’s Dental Office in Webster City. Niki and her husband, Jim, have two children, Megan, 14, and Max,10. In her spare time, she attends her children’s activities and sells “31” Bags.

Mari Jo Timmons, of Stratford, is serving as nurse manager at the Independent & Assisted Living Apartments since January 5th. Her nursing career spans 22 years, including six years at Southfield and most recently at Gentiva Hospice based in Fort Dodge. Mari Jo and husband, Doug, have one son, Noah, who is a freshman at Webster City High School. They enjoy camping and Mari Jo sells Norwex cleaning supplies.

Fourteen one and two bedroom Southfield Independent/Assisted Living Apartments were built in 2003. Because of their popularity, eleven more units were added in 2007. Eleven different floor plans are offered with a space range from 495 to 895 square feet.

The showcase of each apartment is a private patio. In fall 2014, Iowa State Inspectors awarded the apartments with a survey containing no deficiencies. The Freeman Journal reader’s selected Southfield Assisted Living Apartments as Best Senior Living Community. For more information, call 832-3715.
