Chalstrom newest WCF board member

Webster City Federal Savings Bank recently announced the appointment of Thomas Chalstrom to serve on the bank’s Board of Directors. Chalstrom currently serves as president and chief executive officer of First Federal Credit Union in Cedar Rapids.

“Tom brings first-hand banking knowledge and experience to the Board and provides us with another perspective which will be a great asset to the board and in management of the institution,” said Stephen Mourlam, Webster City Federal president and CEO. “Tom also believes in our strong dedication to supporting the communities we serve and the importance that our employees play in helping our organization succeed.”

In addition to Chalstrom’s current position, his banking experience includes being a member of the Board of Directors and President and Chief Operating Officer at First Federal Savings Bank of Iowa based out of Fort Dodge, Iowa. He has also been involved in various organizations including Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance Chairman of Housing Committee, Holy Trinity Parish Finance Board, St Edmond Catholic School Board, and the Fort Dodge Public Library Foundation to name a few. Chalstrom holds a B.S. in Management (Finance) from the University of Northern Iowa. He is married and has two children.
