BLAIRSBURG Thrivent Financial for Lutherans financial representative Marlin Pruismann, CFP, ChFC, CLU, RICP, FIC, recently earned the designation of Retirement Income Certified Professional after completing an intensive three-part course offered by The American College of Bryn Mawr, Pa., in conjunction with LIMRA International and GAMA International.

Pruismann serves families in Blairsburg and surrounding areas by providing financial guidance and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.

To obtain the RICP designation, a financial representative must complete a three-part course that focuses on various risks and solutions that can impact retirement. The coursework includes ways to create a retirement income plan based on identified income needs and objectives so individuals can maintain a desired lifestyle. The course also offers a deep dive on sources of retirement income such as Social Security benefits, annuities, life insurance, and federal and military employee benefits.
