Jake Van Diest and Emily Walker

Emily Walker of Waverly and Jake Van Diest of Webster City have announced their engagement and plans to marry.

Emily is the daughter of Brett and Barb Walker of Waverly. She is program coordinator with Boehringer Ingelheim in Ames.

Jake is the son of John and Beth Van Diest of Webster City, He is the president and chief executive officer of Van Diest Supply Co. in Webster City.

The couple will be married Dec. 31, 2019. The wedding and reception will be held at Bien Venu Event Center in Cedar Falls.
