Jill Christiansen of Newell and Matthew Johnston of Stanhope were united in marriage June 18th. Jill is the daughter of Mike and Lisa Christiansen of Newell and Matthew is the son of Will and Colette Johnston of Stanhope.

The June wedding was held at the Bethel Baptist Church in Newell.

The bride was attended by maids of honor Megan and Kate Christiansen; Bridesmaids were Taryn Reichter, Savanna Piercy, and Melinda Johnston. The groom was attended by best men Nathan Johnston and Dillon Luhman; Groomsmen were Connor Hardison, Allen Fiddelke, and Taylr Robinson.

Jill is a special education teacher at the Newell/Fonda school. Matthew is a sales representative at Ziegler Caterpillar in Fort Dodge.

The couple has made their home in Newell.
