Berg, Hoelscher exchange vows

Sheri Berg, daughter of John Berg and Barbara Berg of Chicago, Illinois, and Scott Hoelscher, son of Loren and Virginia Hoelscher of Williams, were married on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at the Lighthouse Event Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

The outdoor ceremony was held along the shore of Old Hickory Lake and was officated by their friend, the Rev. Shane Dye. Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner followed by an evening of dancing at The Lighthouse.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white strapless, beaded bodice and a flowing scalloped chiffon skirt. The bride carried a bouquet of turquoise, peach and white roses.

The maid of honor was her life-long friend, Colleen Darken of Chicago. The bridesmaids were Melissa Herzog, Nicole Michalak, Jennifer Reed and Crystal Whittle.

The best man was Jeffrey Hoelscher of Clarion, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Josh Berg, brother of the bride, Jayme Jasper and Dan Whittle. Curtis Hoelscher’s son, Henry Hoelscher was the ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University and is a finance manager at MHC Trucking in Nashville, Tennnessee. The groom is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and is a branch manager for Ascend Federal Credit Union in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

The couple is residing in Hendersonville.
