Thomas and Eva Powers of Webster City are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter Rachel Powers, to Cameron Griffith. Cameron is the son of Eric and Janae Griffith of Ankeny.

Rachel graduated from Webster City High School in 2011 and Allen College of Nursing in Waterloo in 2014. She currently works as a labor and delivery nurse in Waterloo at Covenant Medical Center.

Cameron graduated from Ankeny High School in 2011 and from University of Northern Iowa in 2015 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Cameron is currently an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army.

The couple will be married July 23, 2016, in the Des Moines area.
