Melissa Pagel of Webster City and Kory Plagge of Grimes are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Darryl and Julie Pagel of Webster City, and Jaylen and Brenda Plagge of Grimes.

An Oct. 18 wedding is planned.

Pagel is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in exercise science/coaching. She is employed with Principal Financial Group in Des Moines.

Plagge is a graduate of Hawkeye Community College with a degree in architectural technology. He is employed by Diamond Construction in Des Moines.
