Nathanael Ray Tagg and Carrie Catherine Olson of Jersey City, N.J. announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They plan to marry on Nov. 2, 2013 at Prairie Moon Winery in Ames.

The groom’s parents are Kenneth and Sherrie Tagg, and the bride’s parents are Gregg and Cathy Olson, all of Webster City.

Tagg is an MFA candidate and a Truman Capote Fellow at Rutgers University, where he also teaches poetry. He earned an MA in English from the University of Nebraska.

Olson works on the editorial staff at Soap Opera Digest in New York City. She graduated with a BA in English from the University of Northern Iowa.
