Faith United Church, 2020 Superior Street, will host Make a Joyful Bid Pork Supper and Auction on Saturday, April 12, at the church. The Pork Sandwich Supper is from 5 to 6 p.m. The cost is a freewill offering. Celebrating an Iowa Television Icon” is a great opportunity to walk back in time. In 1957, WHO-TV asked staff performer Duane Ellett to come up with an idea to help teach children how to better care for their pets. LEHIGH — The Lehigh Methodist Church will hold its Second Sunday Supper on April 13. This event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church basement. The menu will be scalloped potatoes and ham, with a salad and dessert. The price is a freewill donation. Carryouts are available.
Nate and Carrie Tagg of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, welcomed a daughter, Claire Elizabeth Tagg, on March 11, 2025, at Penn Medicine Women’s & Babies Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She has a sister, Jane, 6. Claire weighed 6 lbs., 13 oz. and was 19 inches long. Claire’s grandparents are Kenny and Sherrie Tagg, and Gregg and Cathy Olson, all of Webster City. Her great-grandparents are Ruth Olson of Webster City, and Jeane Flessner of Cedar Falls.
