The Wilson Brewer Park and Depot Foundation will be meeting Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. at the Depot basement at the Wilson Brewer Park. Note the new meeting time. The third annual Kitty Rummage Sale will be held Friday and Saturday. Donations from the community are still being accepted this week. The last day to take items to The Cat Hut is tomorrow during their open hours from 1 to 5 p.m. Donations can also be taken to The Ed Prince Building at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday and Thursday. Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Jr.,” opening June 19 at the Webster City Community Theatre’s Performing Arts Center, 1001 Willson Ave. Performances will be presented at 7 p.m. June 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. and at 2 p.m. June 20, 21, 27 and 28 at the theater. There is both a matinee and an evening show on Saturdays. There is no show on Thursday nights. Tickets are now on sale. Admission is $15 for adults and $12 for students aged 18 and younger. The Webster City Chamber of Commerce retail committee will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the chamber office. The chamber is located at 628 Second St. All members are invited to attend.
Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, churches from the Ministerial Association will provide a free lunch for those needing a healthy meal. The meal is being served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at West Twin Parks which is located at 1100 Superior St. in Webster City. This week, the lunches are being prepared by the First Congregational United Church of Christ.
