City-wide clean up Friday and Saturday

The City of Webster City will be holding the no-fee clean up days for residents of Webster City from noon to 4 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Webster City Middle School parking lot.

Brownie Sundae Drive-Thru at First Congregational tonight

First Congregational Church United Church of Christ invites the community to its annual Brownie Sundae Drive-Thru, to be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at 1000 Willson Ave. Freewill donations for the sundaes will benefit local food pantries. Here’s how it works: Going north on Willson Avenue, stop at the west entrance to the church. An attendant will come to the vehicle to take your order and receive your donation. Karl King Concert will highlight Father's Day

The summer concerts by the Karl L. King Municipal Band continue on Sunday evening, June 21, starting at 7:30 p.m. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the City of Fort Dodge. These concerts are held at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. Dan Cassady returns to the podium this week as Conductor. Paul Bloomquist will return as announcer. Downtown Webster City will come alive from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today as Webster City Market Nights returns with a community favorite — Classic Car Night. Hosted at the Availa Bank Stage in the Plaza, this week’s Market Night will feature live entertainment, local food vendors, youth entrepreneurs, classic cars, and shopping opportunities with local businesses.
