The Webster City Middle School is holding a food drive through Nov. 14. The students are collecting personal hygiene items and non-perishable food items for the local food pantry. Items for the drive can be brought to the Middle School. This event is being sponsored by the Middle School Student Council.
The annual pancake dinner for the Kamrar Lions club will be this Sunday. The dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Kamrar Community Center in Kamrar.
The deadline to reserve a seat for the Hamilton County Fair Board Annual Meeting is October 28 The meeting will be on Tuesday, November 4, at Van Diest Building on the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. This meeting begins at 6 p.m. Reservations are due October 28 at 5 p.m. to be eligible to vote in the election. A one-year membership is $10. Witches, superheros and princesses will invade downtown Webster City tonight when the Webster City businesses roll out the welcome mat for the Annual Downtown Trick or Treat.
