At the end of the holiday parade, the Webster City Community Chorus will be singing with the Webster City Community Handbell Choir at the Trinity Lutheran Church. The flute ensemble will not be performing this year, as previously announced. The church is located at 1229 Kathy Lane in Webster City. The first concert will be Saturday at 6 p.m., and a second concert will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 7.

Organizers of the Seniors and Law Enforcement Together — SALT — program have announced the next SALT meeting will be held Thursday, December 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Webster City. Kendall Young Library will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27. It will also be closed on Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday, December 25, as well as Wednesday, December 31, and January 1, during the holiday season. A free Thanksgiving meal will be served on Thursday, November 27 at the Webster City Church of Christ located at 900 Des Moines Street. The meal will be served on site at the church, or delivered for homebound individuals. For delivery or in-person meals, reservations must be made in advance.
