Stanhope Night in the Park Wednesday

Envision Stanhope is supporting the Wednesday Night in the Park, with Stanhope State University as its sponsor. Music begins at 5 p.m., food is served at 5:30 p.m., all for a freewill donation. Tee-ball and bingo finish the night.

‘Hope Takes Flight’ at Windsor Manor today

Windsor Manor in Webster City, a local senior living community, will host a special event tomorrow: “Hope Takes Flight.” Windsor Manor residents, families, staff members, and the broader community will come together for an evening of remembrance, hope, and togetherness as they raise awareness and support for those affected by Alzheimer’s. The event runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Windsor Manor community, 1401 Wall St. in Webster City. Among the highlights will be an annual butterfly release at 4:45 p.m.

VDMC trustees meet Tuesday

The trustees for the Van Diest Medical Center will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the clinic board room located at the hospital, 2350 Hospital Drive. On the agenda will be the fiscal year 2027 strategic plan, capital requests and provider compensation education. Also on the agenda is the budget for the fiscal year 2027. Reports will be given by the hospital management and pillar reports, in addition to a MercyOne update.

Hamilton County Supervisors meet Tuesday morning

The Hamilton County supervisors will meet Tuesday morning in the Hamilton County courthouse basement conference room at 2300 Superior St. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. The Briggs Woods Conference center will be discussed during the meeting.

Airport Commission to meet Tuesday

The Webster City Airport Commission will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday at city hall, 400 Second St. in Webster City. On the agenda are bills from the past two months, the fuel report, hangar report, propane and the engineer report.

Hamilton County Conservation board meets Thursday

The Conservation Board for the county will meet Thursday at the Hamilton County Conservation office. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Conservation Office, 2490 Briggs Woods Trail. On the agenda are the parks and staff reports with project updates; golf course report, including the conference center discussion; agreement with Bolten and Menk strategic planning; McCollough creative design agreement for nature center study and the trails grant resolution for Jewell to the Little Wall Lake Park.
