The Webster City Women’s Club invites you to the Jane Young House, 629 Elm St, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to view their new clothing exhibit and house. The clothing exhibit highlights fashions from 1947, Happy Birthday America, and a collection of clothing from former and current retail stores in Webster City. Another room is dedicated to the history of the Women’s Club. There is a lot of history and a beautiful house to view. A freewill donation is appreciated and the Jane Young House is handicapped accessible.

The Webster City Ministerial Association is seeking donations to replenish the travelers fund that is sponsored by the local churches. The fund, which is administered by the Webster City Police Department, is used to assist travelers who have become stranded without adequate funds to continue through our area. Funds are used for gasoline, food or accommodations. Donations can be made by writing a check to the Webster City Ministerial Association, c/o Rev.
