With a change of season, a change in wardrobe might be a good move. The Jane Young House, 629 Elm Street, Webster City, welcomes visitors looking for inspiration from its "Little Black Dress" exhibit. A trip through the historic house is $5.

A new season is just around the corner. Isn’t it time for you to consider what dress you may have to fit the occasions coming up on your calendar? Perhaps a stroll with your girlfriends through the “Little Black Dress” exhibit at the Jane Young House would inspire you.

In addition to the two rooms of fashion, there is a tribute to a well-known Webster City family, the McMurrays, which includes facts, their homes, and more fashion.

The last exhibit room is filled with World’s Fair souvenirs, which may bring back some fond memories of some souvenirs you’ve collected on your travels.

This historic house at 629 Elm Street in Webster City is open to the public on Saturday, August 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s located just west of the Kendall Young Library.

Admission is $5.

Starting at $3.46/week.
