ISU Alumni Club awards scholarships
Iowa State Alumni Club of Hamilton County Awards ScholarshipsThe Iowa State University Alumni Club of Hamilton County annually offers scholarship awards to individuals who live in or attend school in Hamilton County, and who are planning to or currently attend school at Iowa State University.
Recipients are selected based on submission of an application, financial need, academic achievement, and an interview process.The amount awarded each year is entirely supported by the financial generosity of Hamilton County alumni members, as well as the friends and fans of ISU. The committee was able to award 15 scholarships this year, thanks to the tremendous amount of support from the above-mentioned contributors.
Due to COVID-19 and social distancing recommendations, the interviews and the decision-making process were conducted virtually again this year. Seniors in the Class of 2021 were presented awards at their Senior Award Recognition Nights on May 19.
Scholarship recipients from Webster City High School Emma Collicott, Trey Mathis, and Jenna Miller. South Hamilton honorees were Jillian Woodall, Jessica Woodall, and Clay Willadsen. The additional recipients will either be transferring into Iowa State or are currently attending. They include Madi Schwering, Kaitlynn Seeley, Sam Lewis, Maddie Dyvig, Jack Leman, Halle Mason, Carter Neuroth, Josh Casady, and Brayden Evans.
The amounts awarded to each individual will be split equally between their Fall and Spring semesters.
