Ornamental shrubs program set for Tuesday
Attend the program “Ornamental Shrubs and Trees” on Tuesday, April 3, 6:30 p.m. at Hamilton Co. Extension Office to learn of landscape trees and shrubs suitable for Iowa gardens.
With so many varieties of plants out on the market, it’s hard to know which ones to buy and use in your garden. Woody plants add year-round structure and beauty to a garden. Learn some tips for selecting the right plant for the right place in your landscape. Proper pruning and planting techniques will also be covered.
Call the Hamilton Co. Extension Office to pre-register at 832-9597 by April 2. A minimum of 5 pre-registrants are needed or the program will be cancelled.
