Freedom Flickers

The monthly meeting of the Freedom Flickers 4-H Club was held Nov. 9 at the Hamilton County Extension Office.

The meeting was called to order by McKenna Mitchell. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Madison Babington. Roll call was “State your Favorite Board or Card Game to Play.” It was answered by 11 members. The secretary’s report was read by Taylor Mason and the Treasurer’s report was given by Lydia Estlund.

During the business meeting the club finalized plans for the Master’s Cup Poultry Show fundraiser. The upcoming 4-Herama was discussed. The club is choosing two angels from the Angel Tree for one of the club’s community service projects.

This year’s officers training was discussed. The Installation of new members was held. The Freedom Flickers welcomed Madison Babington, Kaleb Butz, Kate Feltz, Ashlee Nydegger and Sophie Rippentrop to the club.

McKenna Mitchell led the 4-H pledge. Treats were provided by Lydia Estlund. The next meeting will be held Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Extension Office.
