Webster City Woman's Club to meet Monday
The next meeting of the Webster City Woman's Club will be August 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jane Young House, 629 Elm St, Webster City, Iowa
The greeter will be Kay Klaver and refreshments will be served by Donna Foster, Janna Heater, Lindsay McCormick-Welch and Patricia Rieck
The program is "250 Amazing American Women" presented by Val Rickert
Any woman of any age in Hamilton County is welcome to attend. Dues are only $25 per year.

August SALT meeting to feature program on African Safari
The August Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (SALT) meeting will be held Thursday, Aug. 13 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Stanhope Community Center in Stanhope.
Refreshments will be served, and Van Diest Medical Center personnel will provide free blood pressure checks. The meeting will start at 9:30 a.m. with announcements from local law enforcement and officials from area agencies, and upcoming events from around Hamilton County.
The program will be presented by Bill Greenley of Webster City who will share about his safari trip to Botswana earlier this year. Greenley and his wife Josi, toured the Okavango Delta and will share stories and photos of the trip.
S.A.L.T. meetings are free and open to the public. The meetings are held bi-monthly at locations throughout Hamilton County.
National Night out to be rescheduled
The National Night, which was canceled for last evening, will be rescheduled. The date for this to be rescheduled has not been decided yet.
