Many folks, from both near and far, gathered together for the 2023 Friends of St. Thomas Aquinas Ball, held last Saturday evening at the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Center at 1000 Des Moines St., Webster City. This year’s theme was “Be a Light.” Along with the big turnout and dinner, there was live auction and silent auction, live music, a lucky lanyard winner and a raffle drawing. The final number raised from the St. Thomas Aquinas Ball will be reported in an upcoming edition of the Daily Freeman-Journal.
