UPDATE: Snow Emergency is hereby amended and will expire at 5:00 P.M. today, Thursday, December 22, 2022

UPDATE: Webster City Snow Emergency is hereby amended and will expire at 5:00 P.M. today, Thursday,

December 22, 2022; National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning and Blizzard Warning

remain in effect.

Although blowing snow and blizzard conditions are still expected over the next several days,

no new significant snow fall is expected. The following changes to the snow emergency are:

1. Parking restrictions on residential streets will remain in effect until 5:00 P.M.

2. Parking restrictions in the central downtown district are hereby lifted.

• Vehicles must remain off the streets once the snow emergency goes into effect and

remain off the streets until the snow emergency is terminated.

• Vehicles may be ticketed. Vehicles are not allowed to park on the street during the

emergency declaration. Parking citations will be written starting at 7:00 A.M. In

addition to a citation, vehicles parked on the street during a declared emergency are

subject to tow if they pose a hazard for maintenance crews and/or the public.
