Webster City runners fare well at Riverhawk Invite
MASON CITY — The Webster City cross country teams secured a pair of individual Top-5 finishes here Tuesday evening at the Riverhawk Invitational. Both Izzy Grossoehme and Justin Callahan raced to fifth place medals as both the girls were fifth and the boys were sixth overall. Mason City won the girls team title while Garner-Hayfield/Ventura placed atop the standings in the boys race. Grossoehme, a sophomore, clocked a time of 21:08, placing just over a minute behind winner Brogan Evans of Mason City.
